THE EXPERIENCE

Your photo experience will have three stages.

We will begin with a pre-consultation to discuss details of the upcoming photoshoot.  The second step is the photoshoot itself, where I will create a fun and relaxed environment with your children to bring their personalities to light.  Finally, we will have an in-person selection appointment for you to choose your favorite images, and design beautiful albums and wall art, to place in your home.

BEFORE THE SESSION

The first step in my process is the pre-consultation which is very important as it helps me understand what your overall goals are for the photo session.  The consultation can be done in-person or by phone.  We will discuss everything regarding your ideas about the photos, as well as what to wear, and how to coordinate sibling outfits, if necessary. We will also talk about color, design and the location and overall feel of the session, as well as how the images will ultimately be displayed.  Most importantly, the pre-consult is a time for me to get to know a little more about you and your family, and to answer any questions you might have about the process.

DURING THE SESSION

The photoshoot itself should be fun, engaging, and most of all, as stress-free as possible.  I believe that spontaneous moments make the best, most memorable pictures.  The shoot can be held at any location you choose, and I will be happy to offer suggestions for my favorite spots as well. Most sessions take between one and one and a half hours, although I don't have a time limit.  I believe that the best sessions are candid, natural, and relaxed.  Above all, the goal of the photoshoot is to have a good experience and create unique, meaningful images.

AFTER THE SESSION

About two to three weeks following the photoshoot we will schedule an in-person ordering appointment.  This is when you will get to see all of the edited pictures and select your favorites!  We will work together to design the perfect wall collection, photo album, or other art piece for your home.  You will be able to see sample print sizes displayed in comparison to the dimensions of the rooms where you plan to display your art.  We can also choose images for a custom designed album for your family to enjoy.  All framed prints, canvases and albums are of the highest quality, archival materials.
